Blouses, Shirts, and Tops Part 2
Hello everyone!!! I hope that you are all doing well! I’ve decided that today would be a great day to discuss some tips regarding shirt styling. I know that I have covered some tips regarding shirts in my previous blog post but knowing more never seems to hurt! So, I have put together another list of ideas on how to style your shirts to make you look taller and slimmer. Below are a new few pieces of advice on how to choose shirts, blouses, and tops to flatter a petite frame. I hope you enjoy these ideas and find them useful:)
- Try to stay away from bulky or highly textured garments. Although these items are typically very cute and trendy they may not complement a petite frame. Unfortunately sweaters and other textured items may appear boxy or bulky. I have tripled many times to wear those big fluffy winter sweaters but they typically do not flatter my figure very well. However if you really enjoy this style pick a thin sweater or garment to help it fit your body better.
- Do not be afraid to pick items with 3/4 sleeves. Although it may seem like this kind of blouse would make your arms look shorter these garments have the exact opposite effect. Shirts with 3/4 sleeves often help create an illusion of longer arms on petite women and can help you look longer and leaner. I also think 3/4 sleeve blouses are perfect for the spring and fall months as they provide just enough coverage to keep you comfortable and looking fabulous
- Go for light-colored tops! A light-colored top can add flare to your outfit and suit your figure very well. Also light colors are easily paired with shoes and slacks to make a monochromatic look. Light monochromatic looks are not only Elagabalus but they also are extremely flattering on petite figures as the create the appearance of length.
- Do not be afraid to have fun with your blouses and apply your own style to these tips!
I hope these tips will help you with your shopping journey to find the perfect top. I feel these tips will help you achieve a very complimentary look for your frame! Thank you all so much for reading! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!
Much love!
